Hey, I’m Claus!
I’m from Düsseldorf, Germany, where I live and work as a VFX Supervisor.
At the age of 12 I knew I wanted to blow things up. Four years later I fortunately found out that being a pyro technician wasn’t the only way to go, but discovered the art of digital image manipulation. I was instantly hooked by the endless possibilities and started to learn Photoshop and After Effects. During my apprenticeship I had my first contact with Nuke and Flame, which I’ve been using for more than 14 years now.
Besides my love for beautiful images I’m really passionate about everything that has an api and can be automated to make my life easier. If I’m not busy programming my vacuum cleaner or automating my curtains, I like to write scripts and tools for Nuke, Flame and After Effects.
